OPTIMIZATION OF AIRCRAFT STRUCTURES USING PARAMETRIC DESIGN

In this project, we are optimizing the the weight of aircraft wing using parametric design software (ESP) and NASTRAN. The interface between them is provided by in house C program code. C program writes design scripts and send it to ESP to create design and related mesh data.    

OPTIMIZATION AND CRASHWORTHINESS OF P2 CAR CRASH STRUCTURE​

This research project involves the design and development of crash structure of a P2 car. The car will be a part of SCCA scheduled races from 2019. The project involves optimization of frontal, side and rear impact structures. The work involves simulation on LS Dyna along with optimization code on MATLAB. 

STATIC STRUCTURE OPTIMIZATION OF P2 MONOCOQUE


Modelling and design optimization of a P2 car with various structural parts to reduce weight, given the restrictions and advantages imposed by the materials’ mechanical and physical properties. Multiple load tests of various structural components of the car will be carried out.
